Sometimes it’s the walk in customers who put the biggest smiles on our faces.
Derek, a retired gentleman with an old Glowwom Back Boiler (BBU) visited our trade counter. His Gas Safe Registered Engineer had directed him to us – “If Trust A Part can’t get one, no-one can. Then, unfortunately, it’ll be time for an expensive new boiler”
Miraculously he had the original Manufacturers Instructions with a parts list on the back page! Naturally we photocopied it for our archive of old boiler instructions.

When we’d identified the correct part number 451447 it was simple to pick one from the Baxi ‘Rare and Endangered’ shelf, filed between Hens’ Teeth and Unicorn Tears.
It was dusty after 25 years storage, but in perfect condition, and still in the manufacturer’s original box.
