Over time an old air pressure switch may fail and prevent the boiler from operating correctly.
The Air Pressure Switch ensures that the boiler is operating safely, and can alert the boiler’s PCB (the brain) to an issue with the fan or flue which may prevent hazardous flue gasses from being safely expelled outside, and instructs the boiler to shut down to ensure safe operation.
